Job summary

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) seeks a Software Development Engineer to join the Inventory team. You will work on highly visible projects spanning scoping, design, implementation, testing and delivery, influencing customer and associate experiences.

Responsibilities include building scalable distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl, collaborating with customers, and leading when needed. Bellevue, WA on-site role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Work on highly visible, innovative projects that influence customer and associate experience.
• Involve in all aspects of the software development cycle: scoping, design, implementation, testing and delivery.
• Collaborate with customers and team members, taking the lead when necessary.
