Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the Inventory Accounting team to own end-to-end e-commerce lifecycle systems across 100+ markets. You will define requirements, implement financial configurations, run test automation, and validate production deployments.

You will help scale country launches with engineering excellence and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a scalable, end-to-end platform supporting Leo commerce logistics operations across global markets.
• Design and implement distributed orchestration systems that coordinate across dozens of domain-specific internal and external services, ensuring reliable end-to-end workflow execution at scale.
• Establish the AI/ML foundation layer, including knowledge base architectures and intelligent automation frameworks, to accelerate developer productivity and reduce time-to-market for new country launches.
• Tackle novel, ambiguous technical challenges at the intersection of artificial intelligence, large-scale distributed systems, and financial domain complexity, delivering production‑grade solutions with high operational bar.
