Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for Inventory Accounting to design and deliver an end-to-end platform tracking hardware inventory across our first- and middle-mile logistics network.

You will design distributed orchestration systems, establish AI/ML foundations, and tackle complex financial-domain challenges at scale to enable 100+ country launches with high operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 2+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a scalable, end-to-end platform supporting LEO commerce logistics operations across global markets.
• Design and implement distributed orchestration systems coordinating across multiple services for reliable end-to-end workflow at scale.
• Establish AI/ML foundation layer, including knowledge base architectures and automation frameworks to accelerate productivity and time-to-market for new country launches.
• Tackle novel, ambiguous technical challenges at the intersection of AI, distributed systems, and financial complexity, delivering production-grade solutions
