Job summary

Annapurna Labs, an AWS organization, seeks a Software Development Engineer II in Validation to validate high-speed interconnects (HBM, PCIe, UCIe) for AWS AI chips. You’ll run eye-diagram analysis, jitter measurements, and protocol tests, then debug issues and contribute to production readiness in a startup-like yet AWS-scale environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment and lab instrumentation.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience validating high-speed interfaces (HBM/PCIe/SerDes/UCIe).
• Knowledge of SI, eye diagrams, jitter, and margin assessment.

Responsibilities

• Validate high-speed interfaces end-to-end from PHY training through traffic.
• Perform electrical characterization and protocol-level testing.
• Debug link training failures and analyze performance
• Collaborate with design teams on optimization and silicon feedback
• Develop compliance tests and build characterization data for production readiness
