Job summary

Amazon’s Annapurna Labs seeks a Software Development Engineer II for post-silicon validation of ML accelerators. You will validate silicon, PCB, high-speed components and interfaces, collaborating with architecture, RTL, firmware, and software teams to ensure system-level quality and performance.

You will drive test plans, develop validation strategies, and build CI/CD pipelines to enable scalable validation from silicon bring-up to production systems in AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on post-silicon validation or system validation experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Lua, C/C++, Rust for production-quality test code.
• Experience validating complex SoCs, CPUs, or accelerators.
• Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debug equipment.
• Proficiency with Linux, Git, and SSH.
• Familiarity with RTL simulation (SystemVerilog/UVM) and emulation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own validation across the full product lifecycle from RTL through post-silicon validation.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL design, firmware, and software teams to ensure quality.
• Develop comprehensive validation strategies and test plans for ML accelerators.
• Validate ML accelerator performance, accuracy, and reliability with real workloads.
• Build test infrastructure, CI/CD, and automated regression frameworks.
• Triage failures and drive root-cause analysis to closure across teams.
• Support production systems in AWS data centers and address field issues.
