Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, including designing and developing large-scale, distributed or multi-tiered software applications using one or more of the following: C#, C++, Java, or Perl

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for inventory and warehouse management systems that support AWS's global infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participate actively in code review processes, providing meaningful feedback to teammates and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code across the team.
• Take operational responsibility for software systems, identifying root causes of issues and implementing permanent fixes to improve system reliability and performance.
