Job summary

Amazon's AWS Security SecDevOps team is seeking a software development engineer to help build scalable internal security tooling. You will work across front-end, back-end, and data layers using React, TypeScript, Java, Python, and AWS services to empower security response engineers and AWS builders.

You will design features through the full software lifecycle, participate in code reviews, and mentor colleagues while translating customer needs into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of full stack development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features across the full development lifecycle for security response systems.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor teammates.
• Identify and resolve root causes of operational issues to keep systems reliable.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Document software and train new team members.
