Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks a Software Development Engineer II on the AWS security services team to design and build scalable integrations that connect internal and external platforms and ingest infrastructure metadata and security findings.

You will mentor peers, own operational health, and collaborate with product, UX, console, and partner engineering teams to translate requirements into production-ready software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build service integrations using OAuth/OIDC to secure connectivity with internal and external platforms.
• Develop data ingestion pipelines collecting infrastructure metadata and security findings across cloud providers.
• Own requirements end-to-end by collaborating with product, UX, console, and partner engineering teams.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and design feedback to improve software quality.
• Maintain operational health with alarms, dashboards, and runbooks; participate in on-call rotations.
