Job summary

Amazon's AWS Security SecDevOps team seeks a Software Development Engineer to build and scale internal security tooling for AWS Security. You will design features across front end, back end, and data warehousing using React, TypeScript, Java, Python, and SQL, collaborating with security response engineers and AWS builders to deliver impactful solutions.

You will participate in code reviews, mentor teammates, and document systems to ensure reliability and operational excellence across detection

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 3+ years of full stack development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver software features across the full development lifecycle for security response systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to teammates.
• Identify and resolve root causes of operational issues to ensure reliability and permanent fixes.
