Amazon Security is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the AWS Security SecDevOps team, based in Arlington, VA or Seattle, WA. You will help build APIs, websites, and tools to empower security responders at massive scale.

You are a developer delivering practical solutions that boost efficiency. The work involves Java, TypeScript, React, Python, MongoDB, and SQL; security experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs, websites, and tooling for AWS Security SecDevOps at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready software.
• Contribute to design reviews, coding standards, and operational excellence.
