Job summary

Amazon seeks an SDE II on Fee Tech who owns systems end-to-end, from design to operation. You will work on AI-native practices, agentic architectures, and ML-driven fee classification, impacting seller economics across multiple countries.

You will design, build, and ship features, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor juniors. This role blends complex distributed systems with fast-evolving AI tools and verification techniques.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered or distributed software applications using C++, Java, or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed systems.
• Deliver features end-to-end: scoping requirements, design, implementation, code review, testing, launch, and monitoring.
• Operate AI-native engineering practices: AI-assisted coding, multi-agent workflows, and agentic code review tools.
• Build and maintain agentic systems focusing on correctness, latency, and self-improvement loops.
• Drive operational excellence: on-call rotation, incident resolution, MTTR reduction, postmortems, and tooling to reduce KTLO.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders across WW Global Selling, FBA, and Finance.
• Contribute to technical strategy: write design documents and architecture proposals; participate in architectural discussions around the Agentic Architecture Plan.
• Mentor and support peers: review code with a high bar, provide feedback, and help juniors through pairing, design reviews, and documentation.
