Job summary

Amazon in Hawthorne is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the AI transformation of Customer Support activities. You will own maintenance, design, development, and delivery of tools and cloud services that support our customer support team and engineers.

You will collaborate with CS, Engineering, QA, Product, Marketing, HR and external stakeholders to implement features, improve UX, and increase efficiency and information flow across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of large-scale systems.
• 1+ years in software development engineer or related role.
• 1+ years in designing and developing multi-tier or distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update functionality for AI-automation tools for Customer Supporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve user experience and information flow on customer platforms.
• Engage internal teams and external stakeholders to implement features.
