Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer I to solve real customer problems at scale. You will design, develop, and own code end‑to‑end in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment that serves millions of customers worldwide.

You will work on cloud‑native architectures, contribute to code reviews, and participate in on‑call duties while growing technically with mentorship and a culture of ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience with data structure implementation and basic algorithm development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (CS/CE/DS/IS) or related.
• Experience with at least one general‑purpose programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, TypeScript).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate innovative products and services.
• Design and develop scalable cloud‑native solutions using microservices.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain distributed, fault‑tolerant systems with cost‑efficiency.
• Leverage GenAI and AI tools to enhance development productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and patterns.
• Operate in an agile environment with CI/CD and on‑call responsibilities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
