Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Network Control Center (NCC) team within Customer Service Technologies in Seattle. You will design, build, and operate AI-native systems that transform incident detection, response, and recovery at massive scale.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate core NCC platform capabilities for real-time observability and incident detection.
Own end-to-end delivery of features from design to production operation.
Collaborate with applied science teams to integrate ML models for anomaly detection and predictive alerting.
Solve distributed systems challenges: real-time event processing, low-latency decisions, fault tolerance.
Participate in on-call rotations, build dashboards and runbooks, drive reliability improvements.
Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
