Qualifications

5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software language.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate scalable products that help AWS service teams test and improve resilience.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver intuitive customer experiences that help AWS service teams identify, prioritize, and address resilience risks.
Lead projects across multiple engineers, make high-judgment one-way-door technical decisions.
Own architecture for AI-native systems spanning agents, knowledge bases, and multi-step reasoning pipelines.
Deliver developer tools that surface resilience context in code reviews, deployment pipelines, and dashboards.
Mentor engineers and raise the bar for software quality and operational practices.
Collaborate with partner teams in Amazon to invent and simplify software.
