Job summary

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever seeks a South Dakota Regional Representative to act as the face of the organization across a region steeped in upland tradition. You will strengthen a dynamic network of local chapters and volunteers, driving conservation impact in communities and beyond.

You will energize chapter leaders, grow membership, and coordinate with development to cultivate donors while planning regional meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, wildlife conservation, education, or a related field.
• Experience collaborating with volunteers, nonprofit boards, or grassroots campaigns preferred.
• Deep understanding of PF/QF’s mission and model.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you’re a connector and a motivator.

Responsibilities

• Support and inspire PF & QF chapters to grow membership, support state and national programs, and deliver local habitat, education, and outreach efforts.
• Help chapters plan and execute impactful and innovative fundraising events.
• Launch new chapters and reinvigorate existing ones by developing strong volunteer leadership teams.
• Keep chapter leaders engaged through regular, motivational communication.
• Coordinate with Development staff to cultivate donors and partners.
• Organize and lead regional and statewide chapter meetings.
• Collaborate with peers across departments to deliver a unified conservation message to our volunteer base.
