Job summary

hello82 USA is hiring a Fan Space Associate for our San Diego Fan Space. You will work 10:30AM–7:30PM PST, with weekends required, helping create a welcoming fan environment and handling sales using Shopify POS.

You’ll collaborate with a 10+ member team, manage customer interactions, assist in inventory and sales tracking, and contribute to creative tasks in a vibrant K-pop setting. This role demands energy, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Interest in K-pop music and content
• High school diploma or higher
• Experience with Excel and/or Google Suites
• Comfortable with public speaking and crowds
• 1-2 years of retail experience
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Excellent communicator and quick, creative thinker using data and intuition
• Ability to work with a team of 10+ to create a welcoming K-pop environment

Responsibilities

• Work with Fan Space team to create a welcoming environment for fans in our San Diego Fan Space
• Handle money and sales using Shopify POS
• Communicate efficiently with teammates and customers
• Uphold performance standards in any crowd scale
• Assist in Fan Space tasks including customer service, maintenance, floor coverage, inventory tracking, and sales tracking

About the Role

Position : Fan Space Associate

Work Hours : Between 10:30AM - 7:30PM PST*

*WEEKENDS REQUIRED

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Fan Space team to create a welcoming and exciting environment for fans in our San Diego Fan Space
• Handle Money and Sales using Shopify POS
• Communicate efficiently with both fellow Teammates and Customers
• Uphold Performance Standards in any Scale of Crowd
• Assist in Fan Space tasks including, but not limited to customer service, minor maintenance, floor coverage, inventory tracking, and sales tracking.
• Assist in Creative Tasks

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in Kpop music and content
• High school diploma or higher
• Experience working with Excel and/or Google Suites
• Comfortable with Public Speaking and Crowds
• 1-2 Years of Experience in Retail
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Excellent communicator and quick, creative thinker with the ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
