Job summary

Rutgers University Camden is seeking two sculpture lab technicians to support the Fine Arts department. Responsibilities include operating sculpture, print, and music labs; handling wood, plaster, and ceramics studios; and maintaining studio equipment for student projects and faculty research.

This is a part-time, on-site position supporting a safe, well-equipped learning environment. The roles require a bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical field or an equivalent combination of education

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate wood, plaster, and ceramics studios and manage relevant lab equipment.
• Maintain recording studio, printers, presses and lab supplies for the sculpture lab and related labs.
• Assist in ensuring a safe, intimidation-free learning environment and support curriculum delivery.
• Support inventory and equipment maintenance across labs as assigned.
