Job summary

Rutgers University-Camden is seeking part-time Theatre, Gallery and Event Staff to support productions, concerts and gallery events. Responsibilities include setting up lighting and sound, constructing scenery and props, and handling front-of-house operations with audience support.

Qualified candidates will have live technical theater experience or experience with audience development; a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required, along with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education/experience; 3–5 years admin/supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction of scenery, props and set design, and operate lighting and sound equipment.
• Provide front-of-house operations and audience support for exhibitions and events.
