Job summary

Rutgers University-Camden is seeking part-time Theatre, Gallery and Event Staff to support productions, galleries, and events. Responsibilities include setting up lighting and sound, constructing scenery and props, and assisting with front-of-house operations and audience support under the Production Manager.

Qualified candidates will have live technical theater experience or related audience development background, with strong communication and computer skills. On-site, up to 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum 3–5 years in admin/supervisory roles.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy are essential.
• Live theatre/stagehand experience or audience development background.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lighting and/or sound equipment for productions.
• Construct scenery, props; manage special effects as needed.
• Front of house operations and audience support for events.
• Assist Production Manager and supervise technical staff as required.
