Qualifications

• Associate degree in business administration, human services, social services, workforce development, education, public administration, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum two years' experience in workforce development, employment services, case management, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of federal grant compliance and documentation preferred.
• Experience with older adults and community partnerships desirable.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, enroll, coordinate, place, supervise, and provide ongoing support to adults 55+ seeking employment and training.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers, nonprofits, and government agencies for supervised training opportunities.
• Monitor participant assignments, verify hours and training received, and maintain records.
• Maintain accurate participant and host agency records and ensure program activities comply with SCSEP requirements.
• Engage in extensive community outreach and field supervision, communicating with participants and host agencies.
• Travel between counties and other locations as needed to serve the communities.
