Job summary

MANTECH in Arlington, VA is seeking a motivated Scrum Master to join the team onsite. The role focuses on agile study management to support SAF/SA's modeling and analysis efforts for senior DAF stakeholders.

You will lead Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, remove impediments, and train staff on agile processes, with a TS/SCI clearance preferred. This full-time onsite position offers challenging projects and close collaboration with government partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of Scrum Master experience.
• Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Demonstrated experience leading analytic, data science, or software teams using agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating agile events, removing team impediments, and coaching teams on the agile process.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead analytic, data science, or software teams using agile methodologies.
• Facilitate Scrum events: Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Daily Stand‑ups, Backlog refinement.
• Guide analytic teams in structuring modifications to analyses to answer sponsor questions.
• Manage backlog with Study Leads and briefings for SAF/SA outputs.
• Identify and remove impediments, including IT fixes and security issues.
• Provide initial and ongoing Scrum training to SAF/SAO team members.
• Attend meetings with the Deputy Director for Analysis to sync operations.
