Job summary

Agile Defense is seeking a Scrum Master III to support Agile teams delivering AI, data, and national‑defense capabilities. The role facilitates essential Scrum activities, aligns backlogs, removes impediments, tracks performance metrics, and promotes collaboration across technical and mission partners.

Required: TS/SCI clearance, Certified Scrum Master, 2+ years of Agile experience, and DoD or federal contracting familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
2+ years supporting Agile teams or Agile development environment.
Certified Scrum Master or comparable industry certification is required.
Experience facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; backlog refinement; impediment removal; coaching.

Responsibilities

Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Support backlog refinement and assist Product Owners in maintaining aligned backlogs.
Identify, track, and remove impediments to keep delivery on track.
Provide foundational Agile coaching and servant leadership.
Track velocity, burndown charts, and sprint health; communicate risks and progress.
