Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Scrum Master to provide expertise to a federal client for mission-critical systems in defense of our Homeland. The Scrum Master will facilitate and ensure the effective implementation of Agile practices, fostering a collaborative and productive environment for a federal client's operations.

This position is on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD and requires Secret Clearance. The role involves leading Agile ceremonies, coaching teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• US citizen with no dual citizenship.
• 7+ years of experience supporting IT programs in an Agile environment.
• Candidates must reside within commuting distance for daily on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between development, operations, and business teams.
• Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to align goals and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and report team performance to ensure transparency.
• Promote Agile principles and drive adoption across the organization.
• Encourage process improvements to boost efficiency and product quality.
