Job summary

Qual IT Resources is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide two cross-functional teams in a health-focused transformation program. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, help remove impediments, and coach teams toward higher maturity while aligning with PMO, business and technology stakeholders.

You will communicate agile best practices, drive continuous improvement, and partner with the Product Owner to deliver business-oriented solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Scrum Master in a complex large-scale enterprise.
• Experience in an agile environment in other roles (QA, development, product owner, or agile coach).
• Proven knowledge and experience with agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership to coach and mentor the team to reach their highest potential.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration across diverse personalities.
• Ability to understand technical issues and communicate agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple agile teams and balance PMO, business and technology teams.
• Self-motivated, creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide, coach and motivate the team to increase productivity.
• Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies.
• Oversee scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables in support of business goals.
• Remove impediments or guide teams to remove impediments.
• Foster a safe environment for open discussion and constructive conflict resolution.
• Facilitate discussions, decision making and conflict resolution.
• Prepare and present progress reports.
• Coordinate activities with other teams across the program.
• Partner with the Product Owner and support Scrum of Scrums.
• Coach the team to higher maturity and sustainable pace.
• Organize planning and coordination for release and sprint activities.
• Ensure adherence to agile SDLC tenant, tools, standards and best practices.
• Promote core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability and visibility.
• Ensure team progress is tracked and communicated to stakeholders.
• Enable collaboration and creativity within the team.
• Support and empower story selection and task definition.
• Empower self-organization to achieve commitments.
• Identify and remove impediments/distractions affecting delivery.
• Encourage continuous improvement through inspect and adapt cycles.
