Job summary

Talan in the United States is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our NYC-based tech team hybrid schedule. You will lead Scrum ceremonies, remove blockers, and collaborate with Product Owners to keep backlogs clear and deliver on sprint goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as Scrum Master, a CS/IT degree, and certifications like CSM/PSM PMI-ACP; familiarity with Jira, Confluence and CI/CD tools such as XLDeploy/XLRelease. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

3+ years working as a Scrum Master.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar.
Preferred Certification: CSM, PSM I/II, or PMI-ACP.
Comfortable using Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD tools like XLDeploy/XLRelease.

Responsibilities

Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog work, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Identify and remove blockers to keep the team focused and on track.
Collaborate with Product Owners to keep the backlog clear and ready for sprints.
Track team velocity and share progress updates with stakeholders.
Shield the team from distractions during sprints and implement improvements from retrospectives.
