Job summary

Azusa Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master I to join our team of consultants in the New York City area. This on-site role supports IT systems for NYC DSS/ITS and focuses on agile project delivery, coaching teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

The position requires familiarity with Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog management, plus the ability to guide teams toward self-organization and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with project management and agile development methodologies.
• Experience with SCRUM framework and ceremonies.
• Ability to perform functional business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Experience planning sprint delivery and coordinating delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs Sprint Planning and leads a multi-disciplinary team in application development and deployment.
• Ensures team understands goals and scope of the project.
• Lead planning and implementation and participate in design/testing phases.
• Facilitate definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resources.
• Assist in resolving conflicts within and between projects.
