Job Description

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Execute Scrum methodologies throughout the product lifecycle
• Guide teams in Agile methodology and support adherence to team rules
• Facilitate the product team's progress, eliminating blockers to ensure smooth progress toward achieving team goals
• Lead and facilitate meetings, including team scrums, sprint planning, and user demonstrations
• Promote Agile quality practices and build a high-performing team
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure alignment and collaboration
• Support ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) and level of estimate activities
• Provide the team with feedback and means of improvement
• Serve as a resource to answer questions related to Scrum and Agile practices
• Lead regular Agile sessions to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation
• Advise government personnel on incremental changes for continuous improvement in products, services, and standardization of processes.
  
  

Here's What You Need

• 8 years of experience in Scrum methodology and Agile practices
• Experience in meeting facilitation, coaching, mentorship, and leading a team towards achieving goals
• Experience with Agile tools and software
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of government processes and requirements is a plus
• Experience in leading Agile transformations and promoting Agile practices
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with ROM and level of estimate activities
• Ability to provide actionable feedback and foster continuous improvement

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
