Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the team on Agile principles and Scrum practices to improve delivery predictability and quality.
• Partner with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the backlog and ensure clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Track and communicate sprint progress, velocity, and delivery metrics to stakeholders.
• Identify and remove impediments, escalation issues as needed, and ensure timely resolution.
• Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support release planning, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.
• Maintain Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
• Drive team accountability, self-organization, and adherence to Definition of Done.
• Coordinate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery and quality gates.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Scrum Master to lead agile delivery for a team responsible for enhancing and supporting software systems, with a strong focus on quality, performance, and user experience. The Scrum Master will facilitate scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating closely with product owners, engineering, and QA teams. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum practices, strong communication skills, and a background in software delivery within telecom or enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with distributed teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools.
• Knowledge of telecom domain, software testing, or DevOps practices is a plus.
• Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist) preferred.
• Ability to manage conflicts, motivate teams, and drive results under tight deadlines.

Good to Have:

• Experience with automation testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Understanding of performance testing and quality assurance processes.
