Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and sprint delivery. You will work with Product Owners, QA, and business stakeholders to remove impediments and improve team performance.

The role focuses on coaching teams, maintaining backlogs, and ensuring successful sprint outcomes. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, track metrics, and communicate progress to leadership, while promoting transparency and continuous improvement across Agile

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams.
• Ability to manage and prioritize product backlog with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Jira for sprint boards and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile/Scrum principles.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlog.
• Track sprint progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify and remove blockers to team productivity.
• Monitor Agile metrics (Velocity, Burndown/Burnup).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Communicate sprint status to management.
• Support release planning and sprint deliverables.
• Promote transparency and self-organization within teams.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master responsible for facilitating Agile practices, managing Scrum ceremonies, and helping development teams deliver projects successfully. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, QA teams, and business stakeholders to remove impediments, improve team performance, and ensure successful sprint delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor development teams on Agile and Scrum principles.
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Track sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments.
• Identify and remove impediments or blockers affecting team productivity.
• Monitor team performance using Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown Charts, and Burnup Charts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication between team members and business stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement through sprint retrospectives and action plans.
• Manage sprint boards, user stories, tasks, and workflows using Jira.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Help teams follow Agile best practices and improve collaboration.
• Prepare and communicate sprint status reports to management.
• Support release planning and coordinate sprint deliverables.
• Promote transparency, accountability, and self-organization within Agile teams.
