Plans, implements, and evaluates surgical patient care for perinatal patients in a timely and accurate manner.
Formal Education / Training:
Workplace Experience:
Experience with Perinatal Health Care Team preferred.
Equipment and Skills Training:
Ability to work under pressure, independently and dependently, applying basic nursing knowledge across various surgical specialties. Equipment includes general, AEM, genitourinary, lithotripsy, ophthalmologic, plastic, orthopedic, ENT, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, oral surgeries, and related sterilization and computer systems.
Physical Environment & Effort:
Work in a surgical unit serving patients from infants to seniors. Requires prolonged standing, up to 12 hours, and the ability to push/pull objects up to 175 lbs and assist with lifting patients up to 250 lbs.
