Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Machining Tech IV- Screw Machine, 2nd Shift, at our Fullerton, CA facility. The role involves setup, tooling and calibration, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Candidates should have 3–5 years machining experience, familiarity with Aida, Maypress, and precision instruments; ability to lift up to 30 lbs; on-site work with comprehensive benefits and a salary range provided.

Competenze

• 3–5 years' experience operating machinery.
• Experience with Aida, Maypress, National, Clearing.
• Ability to use inspection gauges and instruments.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturers drawings.

Mansioni

• Assembles and adjusts die set by selecting proper tooling and tests to assure proper clearance.
• Sets up according to work order and layouts to insure proper form configuration.
• Uses precision measuring instruments and reads blueprints to check parts for conformance to specifications.
• Operates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases to and instructs operators in procedures for producing parts in conformance with specifications.
• Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis.
