Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor's preferred.
• 6-10 years of relevant experience required.
• 6+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct daily operations of the Screw Machine Department to meet production, quality, delivery, and safety goals.
• Plan and assign work to operators and setup staff to maximize equipment utilization and labor efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance, production rates, tooling needs, and setup activities to follow schedules.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Material Control to resolve issues and improve operations.
• Ensure proper machine setup, tooling selection, preventive maintenance, and process control for screw machines and CNC lathes.
• Support Lean initiatives: waste reduction, setup reduction, workflow improvements, standardization.
