Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Cook to deliver exceptional lunch and dinner in a scratch-based kitchen. You will prepare entrées, maintain plate quality, and build relationships with residents and staff in a warm dining environment.

The role requires a consistent Thu-Mon schedule, as well as the ability to read, speak and understand basic English. Prior kitchen experience is preferred and food handler permits must be secured within two weeks of starting.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Must read, speak and understand basic English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain food handler permits within two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes across proteins and vegetables.
• Engage in continuous improvement by sharing ideas and staying attentive during service.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and support teammates for a clean kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, monitor refrigeration as needed.
• Ensure sanitary kitchen by cleaning areas and recording temperatures.
