Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Cook to deliver scratch-based lunches and dinners in a warm, resident-focused dining program. You will safely prepare a variety of entrées and sides, ensuring plates are high quality and visually appealing while building positive relationships with residents, guests, and team members.

In this full-time role, you will prepare diverse dishes, maintain food safety, and support a clean kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work Thursday–Monday, including AM shift.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Must secure food handler permits within two weeks of starting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes by cooking proteins and vegetables.
• Engage in continuous improvement by sharing ideas during meetings.
• Complete opening and closing tasks for each shift and help teammates.
• Keep stations stocked and organized; monitor refrigeration as needed.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen by cleaning areas and recording temperatures.
