Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Omaha, NE seeks a Cook to deliver lunch and dinner in a scratch-based kitchen. You’ll prepare entrées and sides, ensuring high quality, visual appeal, and portion control, while building positive relationships with residents and staff.

Role requires a Thursday–Monday schedule, morning availability as needed, and basic English. Prior kitchen experience preferred; food handler permits may be required within two weeks of start date.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking a wide variety of proteins and vegetables.
• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas during meetings and staying attentive during service hours.
• Complete all opening and closing tasks for each shift and support teammates to keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organized.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, refresh pantry items, and monitor refrigeration as needed.
• Ensure a sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and equipment and recording temperatures.
