Job summary

Velvet Taco in Addison, TX is hiring cooks for PM/Late Night shifts. Full-Time/Part-Time positions with hourly pay between $15 and $19 plus tips. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and love crafting high-quality, from-scratch tacos.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant; scratch kitchen experience a plus.
• Food Handlers Certification; must be 18+; ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality food items to order with passionate speed.
• Follow recipes and ensure outstanding food presentation.
• Complete prep list, portion all products per spec.
• Run station efficiently during shifts and stock food as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods.
• Assist with deliveries, labeling, and FIFO rotation.
• Maintain clean cooking area and equipment; support team as needed.
