Job summary

Velvet Taco in Austin, TX is seeking dedicated culinary experts for full-time or part-time shifts. You will prepare high-quality items to order, follow recipes, and maintain outstanding food presentation in a fast-paced taco concept.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, and rotating stock, ensuring FIFO, and keeping your station clean as you help deliver a memorable Velvet Taco experience. Experience with scratch kitchen is a plus, and food handlers certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, scratch kitchen experience a plus.
• Food Handlers Certification is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality food items to order with passionate speed.
• Follow recipes and ensure food presentation looks outstanding.
• Label food and ensure proper rotation (FIFO).
• Maintain a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift.
