Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver scratch‑based lunch and dinner in a welcoming, resident‑oriented kitchen in Charleston, SC. You’ll prepare a variety of entrées and sides, ensuring high quality, portion control, and appealing presentation while building relationships with residents and staff.

This full‑time role requires a consistent Thursday–Monday schedule, basic English, and kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes by cooking a wide variety of proteins and vegetables and ensuring every plate looks appealing.
• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas during meetings, staying open to feedback, and maintaining coverage of the service line during meals.
• Complete all opening and closing tasks for each shift, including morning setup or end‑of‑day shutdown, while supporting teammates.
• Keep stations fully stocked and organized, refresh pantry items for freshness and appearance, and monitor refrigeration as needed.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas and equipment and regularly checking temperatures for safety.
