Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Cook to deliver exceptional lunch and dinner in our scratch-based kitchen, preparing entrées and sides while prioritizing quality and presentation. You’ll build positive relationships with residents, guests, and teammates to foster a warm dining environment.

Must be 18+, able to work Thursday-Monday across lunch and dinner shifts, and willing to meet local food-safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a Thursday-Monday schedule across lunch and dinner shifts.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred.
• Ability to secure food handler permits within two weeks of first day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes by cooking a wide variety of proteins and vegetables and ensure each plate is appealing.
• Engage in continuous improvement by contributing ideas during meetings and staying attentive during service hours.
• Complete opening and closing tasks for each shift, including morning setup or end-of-day shutdown, and support teammates to keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• Keep stations stocked and organized by maintaining supplies, refreshing pantry items, and monitoring refrigeration.
• Ensure a sanitary kitchen environment by cleaning work areas and equipment and regularly checking temperatures.
