Trademark Metals Recycling in Sarasota, FL is seeking a hands-on Material Grader to join our team. You will receive and weigh incoming scrap, grade materials, and move loads through the warehouse, while learning the ins and outs of metal recycling.

We train you on safety, testing, and processing, with weekly pay, production bonuses, and opportunities to grow. No scrap-metal experience is required upfront—paid training will get you up to speed fast.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general labor experience, preferably in scrap metal or warehousing.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the shift (up to 12 hours).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and all weather conditions.
• Willing to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Must pass hair drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming scrap, weigh and grade materials.
• Enter material codes into the system and move materials to containers.
• Inspect incoming scrap and advise customers on accepted materials.
• Weigh, sort, and move material throughout the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift to move material.
• Keep work area clean and safe; participate in safety meetings.
• Cross-train in other positions as needed.
