Job summary

VetJobs is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Washington, DC for full-time leadership of ICD 705, SCIF, and SAPF construction projects. The role oversees budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and subcontractor management while ensuring government compliance and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in commercial construction, strong organization, and exceptional communication skills, with ability to coordinate with A&E teams and clients and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial construction.
• Experience with architectural drawings, as-builts, and/or schematics.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Proficient in MS Office suites.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project budget.
• Develop pre-construction RFP package.
• Develop master project schedule.
• Lead weekly OAC project meetings, set milestones and formulate monthly owners report.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications).
• Oversee field safety observations and assessments of safety protocols.
