Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks an Access Control Officer to support a government customer in Killeen, TX. You will manage facility access, perform badge checks, and escort un-cleared personnel to maintain security per SOPs.

Responsibilities include logging, CMS/LENEL usage, and ensuring proper entry/exit procedures. Must meet citizenship and clearance requirements; standing/walking for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience using security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping for up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control services for government facility locations.
• Control access of personnel, equipment and media entering/exiting secure facilities.
• Verify badges and authorization forms at entry points and issue escorts as needed.
• Maintain shift logs and journal entries; report incidents to supervisors.
• Use CMS (Lenel) for 100% access verification of cleared and un-cleared individuals.
• Notify sponsors of visitor arrivals and ensure proper visitor badges.
