Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Access Control Officer to support a government facility in Augusta, GA. The role includes badge verification, escorting un-cleared personnel, and logging activities.

Applicants must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance, 2 years of security-system experience, CPR/AED certification, and strong English proficiency. Ability to work long shifts and follow SOPs is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience utilizing security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping for up to 12 hours.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Must understand and apply printed rules, orders and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control for government facility locations.
• Control access of personnel, equipment and media into and out of secure facilities.
• Verify IDs and appropriate badges for access, and ensure approved equipment/media entries.
• Issue ESCORT REQUIRED badges to un-cleared personnel and visitors.
• Verify visitor clearance levels in DISS/Scattered Castles and notify sponsors of arrivals.
