Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Access Control Officer to support a government client in Augusta, GA. The role involves maintaining 100% access verification, badge control, and visitor management for SCIF facilities. Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance and be U.S.

citizens, with experience using DISS/Scattered Castles and CPR/AED certification. The position requires standing/walking for extended periods and English fluency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience with security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Must be a United States Citizen and hold a TS/SCI clearance.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control services for government facility locations.
• Control access of personnel, equipment, and media entering/exiting secure facilities.
• Verify badges and clearance status using DISS/Scattered Castles or equivalent systems.
• Issue ESCORT REQUIRED badges to un-cleared individuals, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain logs and journals; brief supervisors on notable incidents.
• Use CMS (Lenel) for 100% access verification and validation.
• Maintain shift logs and sign-in sheets; conduct inventory of government equipment.
• Notify authorities of emergencies and life-threatening situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
