Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks an Access Control Officer to support a government facility in Alexandria, VA. You will manage entry/exit, badge issuance, and visitor control, maintain shift logs, and ensure 100% access verification using CMS like Lenel.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, notifying supervisors, and enforcing SOPs. Requirements: US citizenship, active TS/SCI clearance, High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years’ experience with DISS or Scattered Castles, CPR/AED

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience using security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Must read/write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control for government facilities.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, equipment, and media.
• Issue ESCORT REQUIRED badges for un-cleared individuals.
• Verify security clearances and entry permissions.
• Maintain shift logs and journals per SOPs.
• Monitor CMS (e.g., Lenel) for access verification.
• Notify supervisors of incidents and life-threatening situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
