Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) in Cambridge, MA is seeking a biochemistry/biophysics professional to advance biotherapeutic candidate selection by performing physicochemical, thermal, and colloidal stability assessments in a collaborative team.

You will conduct biophysical characterization of protein therapeutics, analyze experimental data to inform lead selection, document procedures and results in electronic notebooks, and contribute to efficiency improvements within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience in protein biochemistry and stability assessment.
• Familiarity with protein characterization and analytical biochemistry techniques such as aSEC, DSC, CGE, cIEF, and DLS.
• Prior experience in therapeutic protein discovery and biochemistry research preferred.
• Experience with automation preferred.

• Independently perform physicochemical, thermal, and colloidal stability assessment of biotherapeutic candidates using established assays.
• Critically analyze and interpret experimental data to support selection of lead biotherapeutic molecules.
• Contribute to improvement activities to increase efficiency and throughput within the group.
• Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and analyses in electronic notebook.

Position Summary:

• Contribute to the selection of high-quality biotherapeutic candidates through physicochemical, thermal, and colloidal stability assessments.
• Perform biophysical and analytical characterization of protein therapeutics using established methods.
• Support early discovery programs by generating and interpreting data to inform candidate selection.
• Work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for scientific growth and technical development.

• Familiarity with protein characterization and analytical biochemistry techniques such as aSEC, DSC, CGE, cIEF, and DLS
• Prior experience in therapeutic protein discovery and biochemistry research preferred
• Experience with automation preferred
