Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a biochemistry scientist to execute and document routine and non-routine characterization analyses of monoclonal antibodies. You will support sample preparation, data collection, analysis and reporting in compliance with department requirements.

The role emphasizes primary structure studies using LC and LC/MS methods, thorough recordkeeping, instrument maintenance, and adherence to GMP/GXP practices. Monday–Friday, full-time.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Biochemistry or a related field.
• Basic understanding of amino acid chemistry and protein structure.
• Knowledge of LC and LC/MS analytical methods.
• Ability to perform minimal instrument maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain laboratory notebooks in a GXP-compliant manner and write technical memos.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions.

Job description

This position focuses on performing and documenting routine and non-routine biochemical characterization analyses of monoclonal antibodies in support of pharmaceutical development, with emphasis on primary structure studies using LC and LC/MS-based analytical methods. The scientist will support sample preparation, data collection, analysis, and reporting in accordance with departmental requirements, maintain detailed documentation of assay development and qualification activities, and contribute to reliable laboratory execution through organized recordkeeping, basic instrument upkeep, and adherence to applicable procedures.

All work is conducted in a biosafety level 1, 2, or 2+ laboratory environment. Hazardous materials and samples are handled with appropriate PPE, standard laboratory safety practices, and proper laboratory safety systems in place.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with weekend work as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Malvern, PA are encouraged to apply.
