Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks seeks a Scientist LC-MS/MS Bioanalytical to design, validate, and implement robust LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods for small molecules and conduct analyses for discovery, GLP preclinical, and clinical studies.

The role involves data interpretation, report generation, project management, collaboration across research and development teams, and potential contributions to publications or regulatory submissions. Familiarity with peptide quantitation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree PhD or equivalent.
• PharmD, MD or equivalent clinical/pharmaceutical degree.
• Masters degree with 3+ years of LC-MS/MS bioanalytical experience.
• Bachelors degree with 5+ years of LC-MS/MS bioanalytical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods with quick turnaround times.
• Perform bioanalysis of samples from non-clinical and clinical studies.
• Generate and maintain documentation using LIMS and electronic lab notebooks.
• Ensure data meets regulatory expectations for global submissions.
• Author reports, SOPs, methods, memos, and publications.
• Present data to cross-functional teams and support publications/patents.
• Maintain safety training and SOP compliance; support lab housekeeping.
