Job summary

Takara Bio USA is seeking a Scientist (Immune Profiling & NGS Product Development) to advance our next-generation sequencing immune profiling portfolio. You will develop and optimize NGS assays for immune receptor profiling, including TCR and BCR analyses on diverse samples, in both bulk and single-cell formats.

You will lead experiments from concept to data interpretation, work with Bioinformatics and Marketing, and mentor associates while translating biological questions into robust product

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in immunology, molecular biology, genomics, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience with AIRR profiling in bulk and single-cell assays.
• Ability to analyze repertoire sequencing data and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full product development lifecycle.
• Mentor research staff and collaborate with Bioinformatics, Marketing and Operations.
• Design, execute and analyze wet-lab experiments for assay development and validation.
• Prepare technical reports and documents with clear, data-driven conclusions.
• Communicate complex data to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
